1). What is
the status of the club house? |
| As the new
board members, we are currently looking into a lot of
different issues including the club house:1.) to become
familiar with the project and 2.) to make sure that it is
moving forward in a positive manner. Currently, we have
nothing to report but please be patient with this issue as
well as any others as we become familiar with them and
work toward getting them resolved. |

2). Are we
going to get new mailbox numbers? |
| Yes, we are
currently trying to order new stickers so that we can have
them installed on all mailboxes as quickly as possible. We
would hope to have this completed by mid Feb. at the
latest. |

3).
Why are HOA dues being paid bi-yearly in 2008 and annually
in 2009 as opposed to quarterly? |
| This
questions actually has 2 answers and both are correct. 1.)
In an effort to reduce our operating cost there was a lot
of administrative costs going toward processing quarterly
payments as well as pursuing late fees. Secondly, our
neighborhood covenants that these dues are to be paid with
a one time annual payment. We are simply using 2008 as a
transition year in order to ease back into an annual due. |

How can I become involved in the community? |
| Like most
organizations, there is always plenty of work to go
around. We greatly encourage involvement by as many
members of the HOA as willing to participate. You can to
check our Committees page for
projects that we currently need help with or you can
simply e-mail us at:
Board@ClarendonEstates.com and let us know what you
have in mind. |

5).
What is being done about speeding in the neighborhood? |
| We have
several initiatives going on in regard to speeding in the
neighborhood. 1.) It was asked at the last HOA meeting,
for everyone to please beware of their speed while
traveling through the neighborhood and to slow down to
approx. 25 mph. 2.) We are going to work with the
appropriate county departments to have both a posted speed
limit sign as well as a "Children at play" sign installed
at the front of neighborhood as a reminder. |
